A husband took to Am I The A**hole (AITA) recently to ask if he took things too far when trying to make a point to his wife.
After explaining that he takes a 2-hour commute to work daily while his wife stays home, the husband said he is always given chores to do the minute he walks through the door.
His wife, however, does not feel like he needs a break as he has spent two hours sitting “on his butt” and listening to music while driving home.
he husband then proceeded to trick his wife into accompanying him to work the next Monday.
After a while, he told her that since she considers this leisurely, they would spend the next two hours in traffic together!
Naturally, this led to a full-blown argument in the car, which lasted 20 minutes.
As expected, things have been frost at home since the trick surprise, and the OP’s wife has not said much.
