STRAWBERRY CAKE FROM SCRATCH RECIPE

Are you ready to make a delicious Strawberry Cake? Once the summer months hit, there’s nothing batter than eating a strawberry cake from scratch.

One of my favorite things about whipping up this fresh strawberry cake is that I get to use strawberries right from my garden.

INGREDIENTS

• eggs • strawberry puree • pure vanilla extract • strawberry extract • pink gel food coloring • cake flour • sugar • baking powder

Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Spray the cake pans with non-stick spray and set aside.

After the cake rounds have cooled (about 45 minutes), take them from the cake pans and place them onto a cutting board.

Using a mixer, mix together the cake flour, sugar, baking powder and salt until well-combined.

Next, slowly beat in the butter and the canola oil until combined very well.
