One of the main issues with the window AC control panel not working is due to the cooling settings activating without any reason.

1. Reset the Unit

This may be the solution if you and your Wifi are not working or the buttons on the control panel are not responding.

2. Check the Control Board

You should turn off the power and set it aside then test the control panel with a voltmeter or multimeter to look for continuity.

3. Defective Circuit Board

If the AC circuit board fails to work you are likely able to regulate the voltage which may cause a lot of other issues with the system.

4. Electrical Problems

A sudden halt in the functioning of the AC may simply be down to an electrical fault that can easily be fixed by changing a plug or replacing a cord.

5. Breaker Keeps Tripping

If the breaker keeps tripping when your AC is on then you may have too many electrical items running from it.
