Fortnite Slime – Slurp Juice Edition
This Fortnite slime is not only simple to make, it is so much fun to play with! If you have kids that are at that “video game age” there is a good chance you’ve heard of the game Fortnite.

Really, if you’ve even been to a Target or Walmart lately, you’ve likely seen the clothing and toys featuring these video game characters. Oh, and the Fortnite dances? My 7 year old can seriously show me up with his moves, thanks to this game.

What is Fortnite?
Fortnite is a video game that came around in late 2017 and very quickly became a growing phenomenon. It’s an open-world survival game that allows players to move around the virtual world with unlimited freedom.
There are a variety of in-game purchases that can be made, which has led to the immense monthly revenue the game draws. Millions of people, from kids to adults, actively play the game and it doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.
What is Slurp Juice in Fortnite?
Within gameplay in Fortnite, there is an item called Slurp Juice. Throughout the play you can find this item in various places and consume it to gain “healing” power when health is low.
Think of those hearts back in the old school “Super Mario Bros” days. Slurp Juice happens to be really vibrant green and blue colors, making it the perfect concoction to be turned into a fun slime to make with your game-loving kiddos!
A Couple Things to Note:
- The gorgeous beads that make this slime so much fun are fishbowl beads! I got them on amazon which is the easiest place to find them. Grab them right here.
- This is the glue that I always use for slime. It works great for me and I tend to stick to what I know works! Grab it here on amazon!
- The soap colorants I used in this slime are food grade skin safe and the same colorants often used in bath bombs! You can grab them here and keep them on hand for all of your slime making needs!

Fortnite Slime – Supplies
Green Fortnite Slime:
- 5 oz clear glue
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp contact solution
- Kiwi soap colorant
- Green fishbowl beads
Blue Fortnite Slime:
- 5 oz clear glue
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp contact solution
- Teal and Navy soap colorant
- Blue fishbowl beads
Container – A re-purposed mason jar is a great option or these deli storage containers work great too!

Fortnite Slime is the Perfect “No-Screen” Activity!
It may sound silly to talk about a video game and “no-screen activities” together but utilizing fun crafts and games that feature characters our kids love is a great way to get them going.
Making slime together as a family is not only a fun way to spend a little time together but it is a great reminder to our video-game loving kids that they can have a blast without any electronics!
My son and his friends actually created a “real-life” version of Fortnite that they play on the playground at school! As a mom, I see nothing wrong with screen time here and there, as long as there are limits and supervision.
When we embrace our children’s love of specific characters and themes and turn those into interactive crafts and games, we are allowing their personality to shine through while still keeping arts and crafts and hands-on activities in the home!
Fortnite Slime
Fun slime for the fortnite lovers in your house!
Materials
Green Slurp Juice Slime
- 5 oz clear glue
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp contact solution
- Kiwi Soap Colorant
- Green fishbowl beads
Blue Slurp Juice Slime
- 5 oz clear glue
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp contact solution
- Teal and Navy Soap Colorant
- Blue fishbowl beads
Tools
- Popsicle stick for mess-free mixing
- A container for mixing
Instructions
- In a bowl, pour 5 oz clear glue. Add 1/2 cup water and mix well. Add a few drops of the kiwi colorant and mix. Add green beads into mixture
- Mix 1/2 cup of baking soda in
- Add 1 tbsp of contact solution and mix. The slime will be ready to knead when the slime pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Contact solution is what makes the slime sticky or not.
- Knead the slime. It will be sticky at first but keep kneading. You can add a bit more contact solution if needed.
- Set this slime aside.
- In two small bowls, divide 5 ounces of clear glue evenly.
- Add 1/4 cup of water to each bowl.
- Mix the contents of each bowl until the glue has broken up and is incorporated into the water.
- In one bowl add a few drops of the teal soap colorant and in the other bowl add a drop or two of navy and a drop or two of neon blue colorant.
- Add some of the blue fishbowl beads into each bowl.
- Mix 1/4 cup baking soda into each bowl.
- Add 1/2 tbsp contact solution to each bowl and mix well.
- Knead each slime separately.
- In your jar or container, place your green slime first, then the teal, and last the darker blue.
