Ever wondered how people get so much traffic to their blogs? Where do all of those pageviews come from?
If you have a new blog or website or have ever considered starting one, these are probably questions you have asked yourself. When I started my blog, a mere 3 months ago, I had no idea how many people would read it or if anyone at all would. To be honest, I always read the big bloggers success stories and figured they had some secret sauce I would never be able to figure out.
Well, friends, I. Have. It. Now!

Now, don’t get me wrong here. I am not pulling in millions of page views a month by any means but I have seen unbelievable growth, seemingly overnight!

Pinterest really is the key to this. I had been creating graphics, pinning my content, joining boards, and following every other tactic I had picked up from tons of successful bloggers. I got into a major “tutorial rut” where it seemed like I was reading ebook after ebook and signing up for every traffic-driving course I could find.
My traffic was definitely moving as I continued to post fresh content and research new ways to drive traffic to my blog but it wasn’t moving at a pace that seemed to be really going anywhere.
That is when I stumbled upon Pinterest Primer from McKinzie of Moms Make Cents! This crazy helpful e-mail course includes 5 days of unique and valuable content that seriously changed my traffic OVERNIGHT.
When I saw these numbers skyrocketing I was in absolute disbelief! I couldn’t believe that implementing these simple tactics from McKinzie’s course could have such a huge impact on my traffic. The thing is, this course wasn’t just your average “pin everything” advice that we all hear and know well.
Each day brought a new and valuable lesson from McKinzie and I couldn’t have loved it more. She provides the step by step tips on creating the best possible pinterest profile which is something I hadn’t even realized mattered. I figured people see my pins, not my profile. Boy, was I wrong!
This course also gives great detail on viral pins and how to create what your audience wants to see in their feed. I thought some of my pins were great when in all reality, they were terrible!
Scheduling pins the RIGHT way is another major tip I gained from this course. Listen, maybe some of you have plenty of extra hours in your day to manually pin tons and tons of content but I just simply don’t. Even if I did, I have no idea how I would keep track of everything manually. The valuable tips I gained from this are seriously endless.
Days 4 and 5 of the Pinterest Primer course cover common myths about Pinterest as well as the mistakes we all make without knowing we are making them. Trust me, I had no idea some of the things I was doing were doing me more harm than good!
As I said before, this is seriously priceless to me, but guess what! It is COMPLETELY FREE. That’s right. You can head over to Moms Make Cents and enroll in the Pinterest Primer Email Course absolutely free.
Once I finished the course, I was a million times more confident in my Pinterest game but I wanted more. Thankfully, when you complete the course, you gain access to Pinterest to Profits at a discounted rate for taking part in Pinterest Primer!
If I didn’t experience my insane spike in traffic, I don’t think I would even believe that this kind of success was possible from a course. Pinterest to Profits is WELL worth every penny and considering the discount you receive on it when you finish Pinterest Primer, it is a no brainer!
I can not wait to see what the rest of this month brings for my traffic as I continue to implement the skills I have learned in these courses!
Let me know if you sign up for these awesome courses and what you think of them! Have any more questions about how I handle Pinterest or how I achieved this awesome traffic spike? Let me know in the comments!
