In a post on Reddit’s Petty Revenge, a man confessed to ruining a driver’s car after throwing an Arnold Palmer into it. The poster (OP) explained that he and his wife were returning from a trip to Costco with a hotdog and drink (iced tea mixed with lemonade) in hand, thanks to the $1.50 offer they had. Once the couple got off the freeway, they had to stop at a red light and then another. As they were waiting for the lights to change, they noticed a biscuit bounce off the car hood, and when he looked, there was a man throwing biscuits at their car from his window.
The Poster Confronted The Biscuit Thrower
Rolling down his window, the poster asked the man why he was throwing food at his car. The man replied that he had to brake hard at the lights due to the OP’s actions. The man said that the OP should have driven through the lights. The OP told him he would be a moron for running the red lights and that the lights are in place for a reason. The man responded by throwing another biscuit at the OP’s car.
The Poster Grabbed His Costco Drink
The poster was infuriated by having more biscuits thrown at his car, so he grabbed his drink and threw it right through the passenger window of the man’s car, much to his surprise. The drink exploded inside the man’s truck, and he was furious. The man desperately tries to find more things to throw at the OP, but his search is fruitless. The OP “floored it” as he laughed heartily outside his window.
Pure Evil
One Reddit reader responded by saying how evil the poster was; they said, “As someone who has had to dump out and clean coffee mugs like this, that is pure evil. The stuff smells like you gave a baby coffee, and that’s the resulting dirty diaper.” Another person chimed in, saying, “Classic. A true legend.” Not everyone saw the serious side of this, with one person saying, “I’m normally not into road rage, but this was so funny.”
Many Other Drivers Shared Their Experiences
It seems that many people agreed with the poster and went on to share their own experiences. One Reddit fan commented, “This is why I keep cans of beer in the vehicle. Issue arises, open can and toss in the window. Another party is now covered in beer. Let them try to explain that one.”. Another user told their story when they said, “Some a**hole in a convertible kept intentionally stopping short on me in my truck and then pulled up beside me and yelled a bunch of s*** that was uncalled for, me being higher up in my truck, unloaded a full-size bottle of squeeze sunscreen into the cars open roof, start something get something lol.”
For others, there was a word of warning as there was concern that a joke may become more serious, and you never know exactly who you are dealing with. Someone even commented, “This is the type of s**t that gets people shot in the States.” Another agreed, saying, “I live where road rage highway shootings aren’t uncommon. This story is glorious because I could never do it.” This may be extreme, but while it is ok to have some fun, you need to think of how safe it is to drive and play games that could get you or other people injured.
