Advent Calendars have been a longstanding tradition in plenty of families. For as long as I can remember, we pulled out the same Christmas countdown each and every year, where we moved Santa’s boot to a different peg on the wooden Santa each day, until Christmas finally came! The best Advent calendars for kids are always the ones that let you see their face light up with joy each and every day of the countdown.

As a young kid, this is a pretty fun way to watch the days go by know when Christmas is getting closer, especially when the concept of a calendar may still be a little bit too advanced for the younger ones. This is a list of some of my absolute favorite Advent calendars for kids on the market right now. It seems that kids these day are pretty lucky, seeing as the coolest things they sold when I was a kid were cardboard boxes with chocolates for each day!
