With the release of the new Christopher Robin movie, I have had a chance to expose my own kid to an amazing show that I, myself, watched as a young child! Winnie the Pooh is still around to watch, sure, but with all of the new modern cartoons out, it seems this poor little loveable bear has been forgotten! In the spirit of the movie, I am going to share with you guys some adorable Winnie the Pooh Donuts!

I have always loved the amazing stories of friendship, kindness, and courage that are laced throughout Winnie the Pooh cartoons, books, and movies! In the newest edition, Christopher Robin is all grown up with kids of his own. He is overworked and has lost a great deal of the joy he once knew in life. All too often that is something we come across as adults. We feel as though our only duty in life is to work as hard as we can to build the best possible life that we can, from a financial standpoint.
Don’t work so hard making a living that you forget to make a life…

I have always been a strong believer in the thought that far too many people focus so much on making a living that they truly forget to make a life. In this endearing movie, Christopher Robin is reminded of the joy and fun he had been missing in his life while working too hard. There is such a great reminder within this film that while we do have to work and be adults and provide for our families, this is not all that life should be.
On to These Easy Pooh Donuts
Ingredients Needed:
- Glazed donuts – You can find them anywhere!
- 12 oz pack of orange candy melts – I buy these.
- 12 oz pack of red candy melts – I buy these.
- 12 oz pack of yellow candy melts – I buy these.
- 12 oz pack of black candy melts – I buy these.
Supplies Needed:
- Mixing bowls – These are my all time favorite mixing bowls!
- Rubber Spatulas – Maybe it’s because they’re colorful (and affordable) but I LOVE these spatulas!
Instructions:
Pooh Donuts –
Fill a small bowl with your yellow candy melts and a separate bowl with the red candy melts. Follow the directions on the bag of candy melts for heating them until melted.
Once candy melts are the right consistency, remove from microwave. Using a spatula, you want to cover 1 half of the donut with the yellow candy melt. Give this a minute or two for the candy melt to set on the donut. (I suggest doing all of your yellow sides and then go back to the first one you did to do the red.)
After the yellow has set for a minute or two, you can now do the other half of each donut with the red candy melt. This doesn’t have to be perfect and will look just as adorable if you mess up here or there!
Once you have covered both sides with the candy melts, let them sit for 5 minutes to completely set. Then, surprise the kids (or adults) with this fun themed donut!

Tigger Donuts –
Just as with the Pooh donuts, you’ll want to place your orange candy melts and black candy melts into two separate bowls. Heat per the directions on package.
Once your orange and black candy melts are perfectly melted, you’ll want to begin your Tigger Donuts by covering each one with orange, using a spatula.
After you have allowed your orange candy melts to set on the donuts, grab your black melted candy melts. Using a spoon, drizzle the black candy melts across the orange donuts, in a “tiger stripes” manner!

Once you allow these to sit and setup for about 5-10 minutes, they are the perfect creation to serve for breakfast! They are incredibly easy but look like they were pretty tough to make. I hope you enjoy this delicious treat and get your family out to see the new Christopher Robin movie!
